The Traveling Bowling League Taking Over the Nation
What Is The X-League?
The X-League, based in Stafford Township, NJ, is a nationwide traveling bowling franchise league unlike anything else in the sport. We run an 18–21 stop season from August through May, with franchises competing twice a month at local bowling alleys across the country. Every level of bowler is welcome — scratch, handicap, beginner, or veteran. If you love to bowl, you belong here.
We built The X-League because traditional leagues were letting bowlers down with slow payouts, lack of transparency, and zero recognition for individual accomplishments. We fixed all of that.

Why Bowlers Choose The X-League
Here's what makes us different from every other bowling league out there:
Higher, Faster Payouts
For every 8 franchises, we guarantee a $25,000 prize fund. 16 franchises? $50,000. The more we grow, the bigger the pot.
Your Own X-League Average
Your rolling average travels with you across every house you bowl in, creating a fair playing field for everyone.
Military-Style Rankings
Every pin you throw counts toward your rank, from 2nd Lieutenant all the way to 5-Star General of the X-League.
Dog Tag Awards
Bowl a 300 game, an 800 series, or hit 10,000 career pins? You'll earn a custom engraved gunmetal dog tag to prove it.
Full Financial Transparency
As a 501(c)(7) organization, our books are open. What comes in goes back to the bowlers. Period.
How Does a Season Work?
Each franchise has a roster of up to 36 players. On competition day, 9 bowlers are split across 3 pairs of lanes in Scratch, Handicap, and Second Handicap matchups. You compete using a 25-point match play system; every tour stop has points on the line, and every bowler matters.
Can't make a stop? No problem. Your franchise owner handles the lineup, and the show goes on.
The Bowling League That’s Growing Fast
The X-League is currently active in 13 states, with a bold vision: all 48 contiguous states. When we get there, playoffs will run like a national championship, with eight Super Regional brackets, hundreds of franchises, and potentially a $2.5 million prize fund on the line.
Whether you want to lace up as a member or build your own franchise from the ground up, there's a spot for you in The X-League.
Mission Statement:
The X-League was designed to offer bowlers a high-end traveling league in which to compete in. The goal is simple…to create a one-of-a-kind league that promotes transparency, faster and higher payouts, awards for accomplishments, and to promote the sport of bowling.
Bowlers will be encouraged to submit suggestions to X-League to improve the league itself. The league will be run by the X-League Administration/Staff with input from the bowlers themselves, and something other traveling leagues fail to do…listen. We plan to run this league with common sense and professionalism.
The X-League looks to expand well past the local bowling alleys. Over time, we plan to have franchises in all lower 48 states, giving way to the first ever true recreational national championship and giving these bowlers something like never before… NATIONAL MEDIA ATTENTION.
X-League Administration:
The X-League will be run by the X-League Administration. Administrators are appointed only by the Chief Executive Officer (C.E.O.). Administrators are an extension of the C.E.O. and have the final say in all related matters. In the future, anyone may become an administrator by submitting, in writing, that they would like to be an administrator. In addition to a background check, the current administrators will meet to discuss approval.
